Natural Life Changes Astrologer
Barb Jackson, MA, lives in Vancouver, WA and runs a small BnB Inn she calls Cinnamon Apple Inn. Her background is in women and family therapy, youth and adult education, counseling in agency and private practice. She has worked as an astrologer and counselor since 1987.
Her approach to trauma, scapegoating, and bullying include real life practices which promote deep emotional experience in addition to intellectual analysis. Barb has long been a risk-taker, making bold changes at times consciously, at other times intensely unexpected. As a result, her orientation to astrology is geared toward introspection with intent to unearth hidden meaning from crisis and change. She tends to be a detective with a horoscope toolbox.
As a somewhat reclusive astrologer, Barb doesn't rely solely on credentials, books, or past learning, but frequently receives fresh flashes of intuition illuminating the true picture for client searches. This often pushes the nature of the reading beyond conventional knowledge and into ancient mysteries that can help forge new paths for the client. So many directions emerge out of "quandries" that could never be revealed without a perplexing problem!
There is ancient truth: be in the world, but not of the world. When attachments to habits, people, material, or behaviors are severed or dissolved, what happens internally to accomodate that loss and deal with new reality? Could it be our self undoing is more our self revealing? Is it nothing short of breath-taking mystery to witness our own lives transform?

Out of respect for my clients' time, readings avoid time-wasting astrological terminology unless requested.
